Uganda Pavilion at the 59th Venice Biennale

ABOUT

In Uganda’s first national participation at the Venice Biennale, two artists from Kampala, Acaye Kerunen and Collin Sekajugo, present their work in an exhibition entitled “Radiance – They Dream in Time” at the Palazzo Palumbo Fossati, curated by Shaheen Merali, a Tanzanian-born, British curator. The inaugural Uganda Pavilion at the 59th International Art Exhibition of La Biennale di Venezia marks a historic moment for the country and represents its position and impact on the global art scene.
