Hey Love is a 70s inspired, all-day cocktail bar and restaurant located in the Central Eastside neighborhood of Portland, OR. The multi-hyphenate hangout is the vision of Emily Mistell, Sophie Thomson, Roscoe Roberson, Nicholas Musso and Aaron Hall, a dream team of Portland food and beverage industry veterans whose passion, expertise and love of what they do spills over into every element of the guest experience. Hey Love is open from 10am to 2am daily, serving brunch, dinner and late-night menus.
Hey Love reached out to A&O PR for food, beverage and event PR on the occasion of their opening in Portland, OR. They sought a campaign that would capture the essence of their business as inclusive and human-centered as well as the vision for their food and beverage menu, which pulled inspiration from a global pantry, nostalgic flavors, and an endless summer vibe.
A&O Public Relation provided PR strategy targeted for local and national food media covering food and beverage. We also pulled together their vision, inspiration and story to create a narrative that would position the bar and restaurant as a fun, flavorful and relaxing place to hang out and enjoy a bite and a drink with community. A campaign focused on local and national media relations and press placement was also achieved. We also helped this beloved hang out survive throughout the height of the pandemic restaurant closure, helping with community health crisis management and messaging.
