Lose Yr Mind is proud to be an independent music festival that supports local and national artists while teaming up with rad businesses to make it all possible. The goal is to cultivate community in an alternative venue setting while showcasing some of our favorite bands.
Lose Yr Mind began as a series of house shows that graduated to warehouse parties in 2014. We’ve since grown to become one of the larger annual music events in Portland + continue to throw shows year round at various venues in town.

Lose Yr Mind Fest reached out to A&O PR to amplify the Portland based independent music festival’s 8th edition. A&O PR was selected for its expertise managing the PR for other music festivals in the PNW, such as Pikathon and Waterfront Blues Festival, as well as for its expertise with local Portland and national music media.

A&O PR secured over 35 press clips in a range of media including print, digital and broadcast. Coverage included lineup announcements, event listings, inclusion in top summer music festival lists, and interviews with Lose Yr Mind’s founder. Media partnerships were secured with local podcasters who hosted an on site lounge in the green room where they broadcast live and syndicated interviews with Lose Yr Mind bands. Outlets included KOIN, Portland Mercury, Oregon Arts Watch, Ever Out, Portland Monthly, X-Ray and more.
