Art Platform – Los Angeles is a modern and contemporary art fair committed to bringing to the public the artists, collectors, and institutions that define the LA art scene, through an outstanding selection of gallery booths, panel discussions, and special programs.
A&O was founded in California, and our work with Art Platform – Los Angeles exemplifies the uniquely bicoastal approach of our national press outreach. After connecting with The Armory Show — the largest art fair in New York, and Art Platform – Los Angeles’s sister fair — A&O worked with Art Platform – Los Angeles to deliver an integrated media relations campaign that emphasized media outreach and audience engagement on the local level. A&O also offered a wide range of value-added services including influencer marketing, social media strategy and brand strategy, in addition to our basic PR package.
A&O developed a comprehensive social media strategy for Art Platform LA, including campaigns on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram, as well as an incentive program, which attracted a whole new audience to the fair. After working with A&O, the fair’s peer index ratings showed over 80% audience engagement and social amplification, and their social media audience nearly quadrupled in size. News media presence extended to a diverse array of outlets, including ARTINFO, For Your Art, LAist, Angeleno Magazine, Los Angeles Magazine, and CBS television.
Following the success of our work with Art Platform in 2012, we’re very happy to report a continued involvement in the fair’s 2013 run. This year, A&O will be implementing a new curatorial program for Art Platform LA, including a film and new media sector for the fair, which we hope will establish further connections with Los Angeles’s film, fine art, and new media communities.
