Last month, the artists JoshR and StinkOne put together the dueling exhibit Hairy Teeth at 225 Forest in Laguna Beach. Both artists had their individual works on the wall as well as collaborated on the largest canvas of the show. Its giant splotches of orange, red, and hints of slime green, fit really well with the design of the environment – which had huge stacks of red crates from C.R. Stecyk’s installation at Hurley’s H-Space Gallery. However, my favorite piece of the show was a spinning clown record by JoshR, who also plays in a sick band named Honey Badgers.
