Amstel Gallery travelled all the way from Amsterdam to take part in the Palm Springs Fine Art Fair. And as one of the only European exhibitors, they brought a massive amount of work to display in their booth, like paintings by Daniel Maltzman [see above] and sculptures by Jean Wells [see below] – whose shiny recreation of a cheeseburger drew me in for a closer examination. After viewing it for a while I couldn’t stop thinking about how awesome it would’ve been if it were actually edible, since when was the last time you ate a golden cheeseburger with glassy lettuce, ketchup, and cheese.
