Photo LA: Queensland Centre for Photography
Right when you walk into the doors of Photo LA, you’re greeted by The Queensland Centre for Photography - a booth that sets the bar high. They are exhibiting 10 artists who all live in Austrailia and are pushing the edges of photography into new heights. From Kim Demuth’s physically textured prints that are actually raised in certain areas to bring about a sense of depth, to Petrina Hicks wonderfully snowy pictures encased in futuristic plexiglass rounded corner frames. And if there was a prize at the fair for the coolest showcards, QCF would’ve won hands down considering there’s were the size of mini prints!!!
