Art Event – Chicano Counterculture Discussion – LACMA
Sandra De La Loza, an activist and artist, is leading a discussion with members of Los Lobos and the Chicano Secret Society at LACMA this Sunday – November 13th. They will be talking about Chicano counterculture in Los Angeles and how it has influenced the work of countless artists. In addition to leading the pane, Sandra has work on display at the museum where she has taken hundreds of images of Chicano murals and collaged them together to create geometric patterns.
