Brewery Art Walk – Fall 2011 – The Waiting Room
SPOILER ALERT: If you plan on attending The Brewery Art Walk in the future, read no further or else a super awesome surprise could be ruined… My friend and I walked to a huge studio where a security guard was sitting and brandishing a steel baton in front of a sign that said “Line Starts Here“. He told us we had to wait a little bit because it was crowded inside, even though it seemed like no one was there except for us. After about 10 minutes he ushered us through the door and to our shock we found ourselves alone in a waiting room. It looked similar to the ones at every doctor’s office, except this one had a bunch of monitors which were playing footage of loading screens and instead of tabloids they had a bunch of clock connoisseur magazines on a table. After about 5 minutes inside, we decided to call it quits and walked outside where we noticed a sizable line starting to form. I went back to the piece with another friend of mine later on in the day and it was an even better experience because the artists had friends making phony phone calls and reading magazines like everything was completely normal inside.
At random times this would just start going really fast and skip from 43 to 80 in less than 30 seconds
8-bit stop watch
Loading screens which never finished downloading
An actual line started to form once we left the room haha
