Unravel- An Exhibit On The Streets of NYC
Ironically you don’t always see an official street art exhibit on the streets themselves, but groups like ArtUp and FABNYC are trying to change that. The organizations have teamed up to provide a positive environment for street art to exist in New York City. They recently curated a group of colorful murals with Tiziana Agnello and Joyce Manalo that were placed on what would normally be boring construction signs for a theater under a remodel. FABNYC is just focusing on East 4th street for now and although it’s only a couple blocks long, it’s a real hub for entertainment and culture since it boasts a variety of theaters, dance studios, editing workshops, and urban gardens.
