Artists and real estate owners finally have a symbiotic relationship and this unicorn and rainbow mural is an example of it works. Developers have long found taggers to be a nuisance on there construction facades and in order to stop them they’ve sought after actual artists to paint wonderful murals. When there’s a cohesive piece painted on a wall, taggers are less likely to dirty it up with their markers – probably due to intimidation factors. So, it’s a win-win situation because artists get a paycheck and high-profile place to paint and the real estate company keep taggers away and get eyeballs drawn to their properties.
